“Is there any particular reason why BestBuy is not shipping the PS5? I’ve been trying for months and was finally able to get one added to my cart yesterday only to be told it is pickup only. When will you start shipping the console?”

• This is mainly a protection against bots and scalpers. Most scalpers try to buy up as many consoles as possible, but if they are pickup only then the scalpers cannot do this because they can’t drive to all the different locations. Also it is safer and more secure to pick it up in store than to have it shipped.

• No idea, the only thing I can think of is that these are BIG and if they offered free shipping it would cost too much
