I have both, right now, I don't see a difference. From a super nerd point of view, they are smaller, tend to draw less power and can be made a little faster (keeping the shelves stocked) and maybe a design flaw that we didn't notice to begin with. All PlayStations have an original and a slim, it was going to happen. The ONLY thing I see that is different is the new slim one have 2 USB-C (on the front) and 2 USB-B (on the back) on the system. The original had, 1 USB-C and 3 USB-B. So, like I said not much.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s a lot smaller than the original and can be placed in many different places that the original may not have been before. The system now comes with 1Tb of storage vs. 850Gb(650usable) of the original. It’s just small form factor, the power is the same, however, the heat sink is also smaller but can still dissipate heat well like the original.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The slim is smaller than the original, has more space for downloading, overall ps5 slim is an update to the ps5 original
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the slim variant isn't different hardware-wise- only physically. it has a panel easier to pop off, and is about 30% smaller. if you already have a normal PS5, you're not missing out, aside from the slight storage difference (with the slim having a bit more at 1TB).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's just smaller and takes up less space
