To access this feature, follow these steps: 1. From the home menu, select [Setup] and navigate to [HDMI Settings]. 2. Choose [4K/8K Upscaling]. 3. Select your desired setting: - Auto: This setting automatically enables video scaling control for 4K or 8K HDMI output when connected to a compatible TV. - Off: Disables upscaling. Please note the following important considerations: - This feature only operates when video signals are received from the HDMI IN jacks. The compatible input signals must be either 1920x1080p at 24/50/60 Hz (2D) or 3840x2160p at 24/50/60 Hz. - If [HDMI OUT B Mode] is set to [Zone2], the HDMI OUT B/ZONE 2 jack will not support [4K/8K Upscaling]. - Upscaling is not functional with compressed video signals, VRR signals, or Dolby Vision signals. QuestionHow low can the audio latency go, in milliseconds in its lowest latency mode (I assume 'Direct' 2CH)? I'm very sensitive to audio latency. Less than 10ms is ideal. Less than 20ms is tolerable/adjustable. 25ms starts to push it, and 30ms+ is irritating.

This means the remote will not work with the doors of your cabinet closed. IR remotes require a direct line of sight to the receiver's IR sensor to transmit commands. If the cabinet doors are closed, they will block the IR signal. To control your STR-AN1000 from within a closed cabinet, you will need an IR repeater system. The STR-AN1000 has an "IR REMOTE IN" jack specifically for this purpose. QuestionCan this system do 7.2.4 or 7.2.5 if the Zone 3 is attached to a 4 channel or 5 channel compatible stereo receiver? I didn’t think so, but thought I’d ask.

- Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out with your question. Unfortunately, the STR-AN1000 does not support 7.2.4 or 7.2.5 channel configurations. This receiver is designed to accommodate a maximum of 7.2 channels natively. Adding a Zone 3 with a 4-channel or 5-channel stereo receiver will not enhance its capabilities to include 7.2.4 or 7.2.5 configurations. As a result, connecting Zone 3 will not enable the STR-AN1000 to achieve these higher channel setups. I hope this information is helpful. QuestionI've had an open-box excellent condition AVRX2700H for a couple days. When I power it on there a disturbing loud electrical noise the best I can guess is some sort of relay activation, it does this about 50% of the time, the other 50% it's much quieter.

QuestionI have a A80J that has the S-center in port. This Receiver has an S-center out port that allows the TV's speakers to be used as the center channel. Can I simultaneously use both the S-center out port for the TV and the traditional wired center channel?

- Answer I have my PS5 hooked up. I use a fire cube with my system. Pushing the ps5 remote button changes the system over to game. It does video and audio and is a nice up grade. Please invest in a fan.

- Answer The one labeled Media Box is the one I use. It is one of the two ports that support 8k and Dolby Vision. The other 8k port is the one labeled Game. If you have a PS5 or Xbox X, they plug in that one.
