“Hi, I am wondering if I can use this battery grip with my a7 because I know the other model grip is made for the firs Gen a7 series but if I plan to get a upgrade in the future I don't want spend another 300 or so for another battery grip.”

• There are two grips and I'm pretty sure you need the cheaper first version for the A7. Only the battery tray is the exact same for both models.
