- Answer sound can be output one of two ways with the Walkman. through the USB data port or via the Headphones jack. If you choose to amplify your sound it would be best to go through an A/V receiver.

- Answer The Walkman will support drag and drop via USB to and from the MAC for non DRM MP3, AAC and Linear PCM files(.wav), however the included software is not supported for Macintosh use.

- Answer Yes, you should. give each Walkman a name and then when you need to sync up, add music, pictures or movies, the computer will know which Walkman is hooked up.

- Answer The Walkman does not have Internet Streaming capabilities, however if you download a video onto your computer you can transfer your videos from within Windows Media Player 11 or a video podcast can be transferred using the content transfer software.

- Answer You use the format function when you want to erase all of the data or music or pictures off of your device. It will format it so you have a clean slate to start over if needed.

- Answer You can reset the player to the default settings. Resetting the player will not delete data such as music, video, and photo data. From the [Home] menu, select [Settings] [Common Settings] [Reset all Settings] then [Yes]. [Restored factory settings.] appears. To cancel the operation, select [No] on the confirmation screen. as for sync. each time you connect your player to your computer you are synchronizing your entire music library to add or remove music.

- Answer I can't remember the name of the co. that links to the Sony but almost all of them require a fee to download music to MP3's, etc. They're called "on the go" packages. My mom has a rhapsody account but not the "on the go" one. I spent a lot of time trying to download music only to find out later that I could download to my computer but no the device itself. Then, I could only listen to them for a minute before they asked for a certificate update or whatever. Kazaa is another one that you have to have the special package to download from. LimeWire is pretty much extinct due to downage from activist, laws, etc. I finally just RIPed music from CD's that we already had just to get music for free. If you have extra money then you should have no problem!
