QuestionWhile I can PAIR my WF1000 with my Gen 5 Touch, I cannot get them to stream music. Updated to latest Ipod version 9.3.5 and actually did a total erasure of the Ipod and a new Sync. These work fine with my Android and my Chromebook....

- Answer well boy, this earbuds are sometimes strange. You should put it again in the case, then in your phone "forget the sony earbuds", then pair it again as if they were new and they will work .... sometimes it does it not sure why, but is a litlle awful

- Answer Hi JMan23, Good news! You can remove one unit from the charging case and use it by itself. In this case, only the unit that has been removed from the charging case will turn on. I hope this helps! -Vincent

- Answer It depends if your device has Bluetooth on it. But it depends on what if it's even compatible to use Bluetooth. But you can still connect your WF-1000XM3 if your TV does not have Bluetooth. Like buy a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver and you can still connect your earphones to the TV.

QuestionMy husband wants noise canceling headphones for cutting the grass while listening to music/wearing a hat so we are looking at in ear models. Will the noise canceling feature be sufficient to dim the sound of the riding lawn mower and protect his hearing?

- Answer Hi GrassCutter, The noise canceling function is most effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. The WF-1000XM3s should be able to lessen the sound of the lawnmower and make that task more enjoyable for your husband. - Answer No. I have tried 4 different USB cables since losing my original. None work. Worthless Sony rules around using only their accessories. Would not recommend these.

QuestionWhy can't these switch between headset mode (VOIP call) and headphone mode (Spotify) on my laptop. After taking a VOIP call, I have to open the sound settings to enable headphone and disable headset. Doesn't always pick up call when Spotify is playing.

- Answer not sure what is wrong with these ones, but it actually happens like you describe. Is awful and the only way you can get it work is to pair them again or restart your phone while your earbuds are inside the case (or forgot the item, then look for it and pair it like if it were new). I feel you :(

- Answer When you remove them from the case do they flash red? If so they need to be paired (see below). If they flash blue they've been paired previously and are attempting to connect to the device. If they don't do anything then try charging the case again. When it's charging the case has a solid red led. If that doesn't work I'd return them if still possible and if not contact Sony. Download Sonys app called Sony Headphone Connect. Once installed it will walk you through the entire setup process
