They are very sensitive. Plus they seem to keep falling out of my ears, no matter how much I press them in place and use right size covers.

The Sony WF-C710N earbuds use a touch sensor on each earbud to let you control music, calls and other features with a tap or hold of your finger. The touch sensor is designed to respond to a gentle touch from your finger, but sometimes, if something like a pillow or your hand presses against the earbud in just the right way, it might accidentally trigger the touch controls. This can happen if you’re lying down with your head on a pillow or leaning your head on something, especially if there’s direct pressure on the touch area. If you notice this happening often, you might want to adjust how the earbuds sit in your ears or try to avoid putting too much pressure on them when lying down. But in general, the touch sensor is most sensitive to a direct touch from your finger, so light contact from a pillow usually won’t set it off unless it’s pressing right on the sensor. Hopefully, that clears things up!
