Q: QuestionShould I be hearing a hissing sound on the right side when on a phone call?

• A:Answer The hissing on the right side is due to humidity in the ear cup apparently and it is a issue with the noise cancellation during phone call mode or passive mode (when nc is on but nothing is playing) in my experience it goes away if you wait long enough even if you’re sweaty from working out… but you could get it checked I never bothered though. (I mention the buzz/hiss in my review.)

Q: QuestionI just purchased these and the call quality is not good. People say they can't hear me. and I can barely hear them. other than that the sound and noise cancelling work great once I get use to the controls. Is there something I'm missing?

• A:Answer No, mine did the same thing. Sony focused everything on the speaker sound so their mic is sub par.

Q: QuestionHow well do these perform on zoom calls in noisy environments? I'm WFH and my current headset picks up other voices in the home as well as dog barks more than it picks up my own voice. Looking for something better.

The noise-cancelling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. However, the charging time will increase, and the music playback time after 10 minutes of charging will decrease.
