A:Answer Using iOS 11, I have no issues with the app. Works fine and finds the headphones every time.
Connectivity is good, can walk several feet from the phone and still works.
iOS Audio:
Audio is as good as it will get on iOS because the headphones support the AAC codec that's native on iOS, so it means the phone can send audio as it receives it or has it store natively without transcoding to the headset.
Android Audio:
It also supports Apt-X and Apt-X HD for some Android phones that supports the licensed codec. that's the best it will get on Android (Usually higher phones, because Apt-X is not free).
And if you have an Xperia phone or a Sony HD Audio receiver, it supports LDAC, which I also tested and works (Some Oreo phones might optionally support it as well), which supports HD Audio streams.
For other devices, SBC at 345 kbit/s works fine on these headphones, which any other generic bluetooth device supports.
Controls:
All the controls on the headset work on both iOS and Android, no difference.
It also supports NFC pairing and remembers multiple devices.
