There is no comparison. I have this synched with an I-Phone 6. The Sony speaker is at least 100 times louder if needed and has great base along with still hitting the highs. Try to check out the demo at Best Buy. You'll be coming home with one.

Of course it's louder than an iPhone. Its speakers are many times larger.
