Hi KMS, Thank you for reaching out! We only recommend using the supplied AC adapter and power cord (mains lead) since we cannot guarantee the operation of a non-Sony AC power cord. You can purchase a replacement AC adapter and power cord through our authorized parts distributor (Encompass). Unfortunately, due to the current Bestbuy phishing protocol for your protection, we cannot provide a direct email or phone number for Encompass as of now.
