Hi Rich, thanks for your question. We do not disclose wattage and here is why. Over the years we have seen posting such numbers results in a spec contest. Specs, and yes even watts can be measured in different ways. For example receivers, take a look at the wattage, then see number of speakers driven, and distortion rates. All of which vary greatly. Also, watts do not tell you how efficient the drivers are, or any of the components that help the speaker sound great. We strive to make the best sounding speaker, that feel like you've dived into the front row of the concert, produces powerful deep sound designed to make your heart tremble, and has a long battery life. All of the things our customers have told us really matter to them. Whether you want to host an epic party or enjoy your favorite movie or TV show, this speaker will give you the experience you need. The XV800 provides a powerful, room-filling sound, whatever you’re listening to and wherever you’re listening from. So, don’t compromise, play music loud and clear or enrich your movies and TV with the XV800. ~Earl
