QuestionThe reason the camera turns off is that when in 4K mode the camera generates more internal heat. To protect the camera from frying itself, it turns off. At 1080 less heat is generated and the safety sensor is not activated.

- Answer No it doesn't Mary, because it was designed with features that Vloggers, Bloggers, YouTubers and other content creators want, such as crisp closeups with bokeh backgrounds, to create that more cinematic Hollywood look. Bokeh comes from the Japanese word Boke, which means blur or blurred. But the good news is you can purchase an additional 18 mm wide angle lens with adapter and a 10x macro lens as well for only $49. Potato Jet does a great review of this wide angle lens and several accessories. Plus, he teaches ways to improve its functioning. Happy shooting...

- Answer Hi Noobcamreadude, the widest angle on the ZV-1 is equivalent to the 24mm on a full frame sensor perspective thus it will not be as wide as the 16mm like other wide-angle E-mount lenses available on the market.

- Answer Image quality in video at least better quality than a6400 or a6600 with the attached lense. If you use a high end lenses on a 6100, it can be better with depth in image quality. But zv-1 really gives its quality in 4K and 1080.

QuestionI have noticed in my videos that the lighting exposure continues to adjust from light to dark during recording. How can I adjust the camera settings so the brightness does not adjust while I'm moving around in my video? Thanks!

- Answer This is done by metering modes in the menu. You have to experiment with each on your own. Each will adjust brightness according to the setting you're in. For the most part multi meter works good. Another thing that adjusts exposure is the face exposure setting in the menu. It will auto default to adjusting exposure to the lighting on your face. If youre not vlogging you may want to turn this off. Also the defocus button, which remove bokeh in the background will dim the exposure. When you hit the focus again the exposure will adjust to your face and the background will blur again.

- Answer Yes, you can record time-lapse. I've done it it manual exposure mode. You have to set it up in Menu camera settings 1, Page 3 under interval shoot Func. You can choose how many minutes or seconds and how much shots to take within that time.
