Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I asked this or a similar question. I didn't get an answer but bought it anyway. Only one speaker can be "seen" in the bottom of the soundbar, in the center, firing down. I ran a stereo sound test on youtube that sends sound alternately from left to right speakers. I was pleased to hear the sounbar responding in stereo, as if there are speakers at each end as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cant tell if it is in stereo, the sound is horrible. The sound does not sound as if it is in stereo not very dynamic. I am unable to tell if sound is being pumped out from a left and right channel. You do get increased volume over built in TV speakers. The Sonos Playbar is in a completely different class. We bought it to go on the expensive TV and the Insignia for the cheaper TV. Bad idea. The difference in sound is astonishing. There is know way to be happy with one after hearing the other. I would recommend something in a little higher price range then the INSIGNIA how much more is up to you and your budget.
