- Answer The soundbar comes with the power cable, a 3.5mm cable, and a set of red/white RCA audio cables. You should be able to connect everything up using these cables, though this will depend on the connections of your TV. If you prefer to connect using a digital optical cable you would need to purchase that separately.

- Answer Wireless can be a vague term. This product requires to be wired into a power supply - that's one application of the term. If the device producing the sound signal (tv, phone, computer, etc) has Bluetooth capability, you can connect to it without hard-wiring to the device. If not, you will need to connect via wires such as RCA cables. I have it connected via RCA to my tv, but when I want to stream music to it from my phone, I pair my phone to it via Bluetooth wirelessly

- Answer Very easy. Just hook up the audio cables from the soundbar to the TV and plug in the power adapter. Power on the soundbar and it's up an running.

QuestionI'm trying to hook up my new Insignia sound bar to my 32 inch Samsung TV. I've tried both RCA and AUX IN ports, but to no avail. My TV continues playing sound through its own speakers. I've checked and ensured all cables are properly connected. Help!

- Answer You may need the optical cable. I was told by samsung that my tv RCA outputs don't work, which seems dumb, but that's what the samsung customer service said.

- Answer Yes, there are 4 selectable inputs, you might have to buy a cable. It has RCA (R/L), mini plug, and digital optical.

- Answer Hi, after looking at your soundbar's specifications, I found that it cannot be powered through a USB cord as it necessarily needs an 18V constant power input for it to turn on, whilst a USB port will only provide 5V. In addition to that, the soundbar does not have a USB plug which provides a constant electricity going to it. Regards, Daniel T. - Insignia Support

QuestionI'm planning to mount this using brackets to the bottom of my TV. Does anyone know what the distance measurement is between the two mounting holes (on the back of the soundbar?

- Answer I was able to mount it the bottom of the TV. It took a little creativity but using a generic $9 bracket from Amazxx it works. I used a #10 sheet metal screw to mount it to the bracket. My TV has the controls on the bottom or I would have flush mounted it against TV.

QuestionThe specs say just one speaker, but this is supposed to be a 2.0 stereo bar. How is that possible?

- Answer I saw that in the specs as well. Didn't make sense. I just purchased this bar. It has left and right speakers on each end of the bar and a down firing "subwoofer" in the middle. So technically it's a 2.1. But it really is a silly excuse for a subwoofer. But, for the price it really does sound good.

- Answer to my knowledge, yes. My husband pick up a subwoofer at a local Goodwill for $7 (Sharper Image brand....not the best, but will do for now). The sound quality has increased significantly.
