A:AnswerThis is just a basic soundbar. Do expect high quality from this unit. If you have a house full of people for a game or party this little wanna be will not get the job done.
If either your tv or cable box has rca outputs this will go with both.
A:AnswerI'd think it is your sound bar... or possibly somebody ele's that is close by you. This sound bar does have bluetooth connectivity, so you can play music from your phone, tablet, or other mobile devices; but its model # is NS-SB316.
A:AnswerOur bar provides clear sound. The volume up and down on the remote should raise and lower the volume of sound coming out of the bar (we usually use the TV remote to set the volume the TV is putting out and let the bar set to where it doesn't have a hiss (or its just barely audible) when the TV volume is really low or muted. We're connect by the Headphone cable and jack. I don't think we'd have a hiss through a Digit Optical connection). The Source buttons, should switch between devices connected to the bar. Not sure what would cause it to change TV channels, since that fuction isn't on the remote. Sounds defective to me. I'd return, or exchange, it if it is still within the allowed timeframe; or contact the manufacturer for warranty repair/exchange.
A:AnswerI don't know anything about the use of Sennhieser wireless headphones with the Insignia NS-SB316 Soundbar. I usually try to determine the answer to something I don't know about a device by going onto the Internet and ask my question in a chosen browser and perhaps, but not always, get an answer to my queries.
A:AnswerWe use the TV remote to fine tune the volume the TV puts out. We connected the bar to the TV's headphone jack, so we get a hiss when the bar volume is high and the TV volume is low or muted. We just keep the bar volume set to a place where there is no, or minimal, hiss when the TV Volume is low or muted. It works great for us. I guess you could do the same using the TIVO remote.
A:AnswerI did not connect with the optical port. I've had trouble with those ports on other units, so I don't use them. I used the dual male audio patch cord that was included with the speakers, & it works fine. Let's face it, you're putting an expensive connection on a 'middle of the road' speaker bar.
A:AnswerI am not sure, but I would think if you provide a model number, you could probably order a replacement. Check to see if you can program your TV remote to control the sound bar as well
A:AnswerHello katman, while the volume of the TV can be controlled with the TV remote, the volume of the channels is determined by the broadcaster and how they record their shows. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
A:AnswerI don't see a problem with mounting the speakers to the tv, but i don't think there is hardware for it. You might use some cable ties or slim chain to attach it to the frame. Do not attach it to the tv.
Hope It Helps
