“I need to compare this with the insignia 59.99 cd player/bluetooth boombox. The output of that is 3 watts per channel. Soundbar is 39 watts? I want the output of the soundbar but with CD player built in, (not line in). Suggestions? Watt comparisons?”

easiest way to connect it to plug the 3.5 mm cable into the headphone port of the boombox to the aux input on the soundbar. tur the volume up on the cd player after connecting the cable and use the volume contold on the sounbar/remote to control the volume for others to hear the music.
