I have had the Spectre for 3 weeks and thus far, have been quite pleased. It has great connectivity and does everything I need for it to do. I am not a fan of Windows 10, but the laptop does its part well.

I was able to use it all day at school to take notes, work on powerpoints, surf the net, and watch youtube videos, and I would still have about 15% to 20% battery life when I got home. My last laptop was HP HDX 18 that I have been using since 2008, I just needed something smaller that I could actually travel with. My issues were with the current quality control of HP. On 10/30/17 I purchased my first Spectre x360 model 13-AE013DX I really liked it but every time I typed the screen would kind of wobble, so I went back to the store and looked at the display model and that is when I realized that the hinges on my spectre were not as tight as the ones on the display model (yes, the display model was the exact same new model spectre that I purchased. So I exchanged it on 11/01/17 for the exact same model another 13-AE013DX. I thought everything was good, I loved my new laptop I was able to use this on until 11/07/17 that is when the battery in the laptop stopped charging. It was not the charger, my friend has the 7th gen spectre and his charger would also not charge my laptop, but mine would charge his so I knew the charger was good. I contact customer support and they had me do a power test through the BIOS and it failed they said I could do a warranty claim through them, but I just took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for the silver spectre non-4K one, model 13-AE012DX. This one I did not even power on as soon as I took it out of the plastic sleeve I noticed there was a small dent on the bottom, I admit this is a cosmetic issue, and the laptop would probably work fine, but if I buy a laptop that costs this much it should be perfect. So I took that one back and got another model 13-AE012DX the same day. This one I started loading all my stuff back on it and I notice that cursor would jump around when using the track pad, after closer inspection I saw that the trackpad was messed up. The right side of it was sitting higher than the left side and instead of sitting flat I could stick my finger nail under the right side of the track pad. After 4 tries with HP I ended up getting the yoga 920 and I have been using it for the past few days. So far it seems ok, I really don’t like the keyboard though, the one on the spectre was much better. But it seems like the touch screen is better on the yoga 920. On the spectre when I had different windows open full screen and I tried closing them by taping on the screen in the corner it would not close all the time and I had to use the cursor. No issues doing this on the yoga.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently moved over to a windows laptop from a macbook. Was very hesitant at first since I'm kind of an Apple guy but this laptop just offers more than a $2500 macbook pro. I'm using the 15" version of this laptop and I gotta say it is a pretty decent. I did run into some heating and fan issues with the laptop in the early stages but HP took it back and repaired it. No issues since. I'm hoping to get the 13" version and hence why I'm on Bestbuy US. HP Canada just doesn't offer the Ash Grey in 13" 4k. The Canadian options are always limited. All in all this laptop has been performing thus far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I just bought it on Wednesday when I was in Anchorage. It’s very classy looking and it does come with the pen. I have not set it up yet. I did do as much research as I could find. For the price it has everything I need. I am a Mac person, I will be back to give my review on it. About that person changing iris computer 4 times, it hasn’t been out long enough. He had to have had the wrong computer. In Alaska it was just put on the sales floor this last week. Just my opinion. I know the states a little longer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I purchased one. It's as close to perfect as I you can get, BUT I purchased a 13" HP Envy from Costco and had to return because the USB-C port didn't work. HP sent a box even though I told them I'd take back to store. A couple days prior to the Envy I purchased a 2 in 1 Lenovo from Costco and had to return because the card reader didn't work. After almost a week of pretty heavy use there's hasn't been anything wrong with this model, yet...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been very happy with the laptop. Performance has been great and no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought an open box three weeks ago and so far the laptop is amazing! No issues!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First one, track pad or driver issue...no on could determine so I took it back because fixing a track pad is super expensive. Second one will not charge. I love this laptop, but if #3 fails i am out. Worst part is I cannot reset it because it can’t be powered by the power cord. And of course, I don’t happen to have a new usb C style charging cord lying around...

The first two were defective (ie.The Lenovo stopped charging and the Dell had a keyboard that, once lit, would time out every 10 seconds....a key would have to be touched each time to re-light the keyboard) I called Dell, and the issue with the keyboard was irreparable. The HP (to me) is without peer and Best Buy was fantastic in support of my returns. I can't stress enough how the management of Best Buy was instrumental in my achieving satisfaction with my laptop purchase.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, QC could be a lot better. I've had mine in for warranty work twice in the past year. First for a replacement motherboard and most recently to replace the keyboard and fans.
