QuestionI bought this one few days ago, and i just got a question about its durability. Is it fine to grab and carry this laptop using one hand? And is it fine to shake this laptop like when i put this in my backpack and i had to run?

- Answer Yes, the storage media is a Solid State Drive so there is no need to worry about any damage from moving around. You can certainly carry it with one hand and it should be able to handle tumbling around in your bag.

- Answer I'm using a dell USB-C dock with it and has been working very well. The laptop will complain that it is not an HP charging unit, but it does charge the battery, allow me to have full keyboard/mouse, and along with the laptop display - allow for 3 monitors.

- Answer Your current drive would be swapped for the new one. But you have to consider how you'd format the new drive and transfer your data from the old one. If you are just looking for more storage then I'd consider an external drive.

- Answer It’s BOE but there is no flicker at any brightness setting. So regardless of if it uses PWM or not, the screen is very bright, one of the best I have seen in a 4K laptop. I have tried all brightness settings, I see absolutely no flicker at any setting and I have very sensitive eyes.

- Answer Those are all just various model numbers. Typically the first letters denote the series and the numbers are for the specific models. The last letters sometimes vary depending on product availability.

- Answer So while it is the new Spectre model there are TONS of configurations of each model and not every configuration is available at a retailer. So it is hard to know for sure without knowing exactly the specs of the CES model if this is the one or a similar retailer exclusive model or such.

The specs on the box are as follows: - 8th gen I7-8550U (1.8 GHz) - 512 GB Solid State Drive (up to 35 GB system disk reserved for system recovery) - 16384 MB SODIMM DDR4 SDRAM - No optical drive (a separate USB plug in external optical drive is needed to read/write discs)/There is a full size SD card reader - Windows 10 - Touchscreen, multi- touch enabled - 15.6 " Diagonal UHD IPS LED Display (UHD content required to view UHD images) - WLAN & Bluetooth (Wireless only-WiFi router necessary) There is no ethernet port - a usb/ethernet adapter would be needed for a hardwired connection to the internet) - NVIDIA GeForce Graphics MX 150 (replaces 940 MX) - Bang & Olufson speakers - HP IR Camera (Features may require software or other 3rd party applications to provide full functionality) - Smart pen and laptop sleeve included - Ports: 3.5mm audio jack, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI-out, a single USB 3.1 port, and power jack.
