A:AnswerI don’t think the shelves are meant to store directly on them because they are built to convey the cold and ventilation is most likely needed. It’s better to use the basket because you can easily see what’s in them and the freezer is not meant to stay open long. I really like the baskets, they are very roomy and easy to pull in and out without having to look in the back of the shelves.
A:AnswerThe freezer needs proper ventilation...you should allow a minimum of 8 inches on the sides...4inches at the back and 12 inches at the top of the unit.
A:AnswerI'm not sure it has a drain, but it is so small that it is easy to defrost and ckean. unplug put towels on each rack and let it defrost. Wipe it out that's about it.
