You can actually mount the weatherproof WiFi/modem outside, should you prefer not to run wires through your walls. The 6E WiFi has a great range. You will have to have an 120v outlet to plug it into, and most newer homes have an outside outlet. To clarify, the antenna comes with a 40’ cable that plugs into the combo WiFi/modem, then you’re wireless from there. My house was already wired for cable, so I used that hole, tying a string around the end before pulling the cable out, then used that string to feed the Starlink antenna cable inside.
