- Answer The BRACKET225PT enables you to mount two 2.5” solid-state drives or hard drives into a 3.5” bay. As long as the computer has a 3.5” bay, the BRACKET225PT will work. Atha, StarTech.com Support

- Answer I used this bracket to do what you want to do, install a 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" rotational hard drive bay. No problems.
