• the lowest speed I've tested it on is 10Mbps when I'm at my house in South America. Netflix and youtube work fine at that speed, but will eat the bandwidth for other devices streaming on youtube and such. The sweet spot I've noticed is a minimum of 20Mbps for 1080p streaming which will reduce the risk of bandwidth throttling and constant buffering. Anything beyond that will work best. Here in VA we have 100Mbps and never had an issue even with everyone watching their own thing on their own TVs, computers or devices.

• Not sure what bare minimum is. I was running very well at 100 Mbps download speed.
