• You can try. It depends on the age and quality of the cable. I did the same thing. It worked for a while but then I had video issues so I upgraded to HD cables (BNC + power). Works great now.

• Honestly, I would do a full upgrade, just to avoid any issues. I know its a hassel, but in the end it will be worth it.
