“What is the purpose of a TV during installation? Will a computer work just as well as a TV during setup?”

• Yes a computer works fine. The android app is junk. You have to keep setting the cameras up. It streams fine in subsream but once you use mainstream it starts getting choppy. The whole system is good other than the android app.

• Yes. All you need is a monitor to plug the dvr into to view the set up screen. Any monitor or tv that has either a hdmi or vga video in port will work.

• You can use a Monitor or a TV as a display. I use an old pc monitor for my system.
