We are happy with this swann camera system. Works great just like description states. It does work just fine on phone app as long as your phone has a signal strong enough to pull up in other app like a simple weather radar app. I’ve read in the reviews that a few people said it wouldn’t work unless you were in the same location of the system. That’s not true on our account. Works perfect for anyone just wanting some extra eyes on your home and property and you can wire and set it up all by yourself it’s that easy.

I would have put 5 stars but the system does not have microphones or speakers.sound can be added to 4 of the 8 channels by purchasing more devices. The picture is outstanding. Night vision us pretty good. Easy to set up

This product is living up to my expectations as the picture quality is outstanding and is 2.4x clearer over 1080p. The 5mp cameras are great in identifying people that approach and make deliveries to my home. This was an excellent purchase during the Black Friday sale and you can’t go wrong with this system. To be transparent, I rated this system 4 stars instead of 5 stars because I was hoping that it had the smart video analytics capabilities that is offered in the higher models where you can set recording perimeters and intrusion detection areas. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

Excellent picture quality. Easy DIY for the home owners. 4 stars because cameras are made of plastic. Also, system only has Start-Up guides but no owner's manual. Have to download a pdf file on Swann website.

Cameras are great. The instructions are terrible. You really gotta play around with it to learn how to do anything.

Bought it for my 91 year old momma. She said you shouldn't have spent the money, now she tells everyone about it and monitorsv the cameras all the time. They work great! Gives her and me peace of mind.

This is my first security camera system and I am very happy with it. I was going the wireless/battery camera route but decided it would be easier to run cables rather than climb up and pull cameras down to charge them. Install was fairly easy, mounted cameras, ran wires and set up system. I have one more cameras to mount but so far the three that are mounted are working great. The cameras are rated to -4*F and after the -20F temps we had this week, not one hiccup, worked like a champ. Set up is very easy and any questions I had was answered very quickly via email. Happy with the customer support which means a lot these days!! I was so pleased with Swanns products I bought an indoor wifi Pan/Tilt camera which works great also.

My old 720 camera system hard drive fried after 8 years. Saw this on sale and tried it. My old 4 cameras worked with new system now I have 8 cameras. Couple old camera did have to use the newer cables provided. Setup of mobile access was much easier than my old system. Clarity of camera is better than my old. Monitor clarity is better than mobile. Now 2 years later I also added wireless Wyze camera (not by Swann) Wyze clarity are clearer on my mobile than Swann and no need for bnc wire just need power. Technology of these cameras are improving so fast. I did try Swann wireless camera, it stopped working less than a month, returned it plus it cost more than Wyze. If you don’t need monitor hookup and hard drive just mobile then you can get wireless, most use micro sd for storage. If you need monitor and hard drive then go with Swann.

I’ve been happy with this purchase. Video clarity is good. I’ve not set up the system to get notifications on my phone as I’m not interested in that. The DVR unit is a little loud. Had I known that I would have chosen another location than my bedroom to set it up.

Easy and very fast to hook up I would recommend this to lots of people and the picture is very clear

Very Nice clear picture, and so far so good. Having to replace two lost cameras from Hurricane, no fault of the Swann System...

Needed a camera to keep eye on things. Works great and sends notifications and emails. No problems after installed and when family knew we got it. No more problems there. That’s the sad part.

Great cameras, and just be ready to drill holes as this is a wired system.

Wish I could see a little clearer. Although I like that it sends me an email with a picture for motion
