No, I have just installed all the cameras normally. The installation process like; running the wires and plug the ends into their respective connectors from cameras & DVR; is very easy. I had trouble with the configuration of the app, so I called customer service and their technician guided me thru the process. All the cameras have a nice view and there is not much of a difference between the 1080 and 720 cameras.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No each channel Will support one camera you can have a 720p on one channel and a 1080 P on another channel they do not have to be in pairs. with eight channels this allows you to add four more cameras of your choosing.
