Motion markers........if recording ONLY what has been setup for "motion detection", the "markers" are indeed only what will be recorded. If you record constantly, when you review each camera is numbered, time-stamped (if you turned that on ) and regardless, each camera has the time at the bottom of the viewing screen to jump to. The photo shows my driveway. 8 cams on the left and calendar to choose date to view. Top of photo shows day and time, icons on bottom show pause, stop, zoom on one side the other side of icons show camera icon for snapshot, red "record" button and such. At the bottom, shows one camera selected and the blue line is what time the camera has recorded. You can jump around to any time you choose. Hope that helps Chuck
