• each camera has its own power supply each cable has 2 wires 1 for power 1 for vidio all cables have to go back to record box where you plug vidio side to recorder other side to power which comes as 2 plugs that split into 4 power supplys each to power the 8 cameras

• The cameras each have their own power cable, but the power is supplied by a 4-way splitter near the DVR. For all 8 cameras, you will need two outlets for the power to be provided.
