• Camera needs to connect to a dvr using bnc wire. It does not need WiFi to work. WiFi is needed only if you want to view or playback remotely from a smart device.

• No wifif is only required for remote access with a compatible smartphone, tablet, or computer. But you do require a compatible DVR.
