its "WEATHER RESISTANT WHEN SHELTERED." that's what the packaging states. also camera should not be exposed to direct sunlight. NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THAT IT IS WATERPROOF. AND THAT INCLUDES SWANN.COM SITE. ALSO THE EXPANDABLE DEVICES DON'T SEEM TO BE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. I'M OK WITH MY PURCHASE.
