- Answer Hi there! In Florida, the statewide law says that riders must be a minimum of 16 years of age, but a drivers license is not required. The MAXX is limited to operation in bike lanes and must follow road rules that pertain to bikes. Miami requires riders to be a minimum of 18 years of age, does not allow you to ride over 15mph in bike lanes and 7mph on sidewalks. For additional regulations, it is recommended you check with the DMV at your local jurisdiction for additional information or requirements.

QuestionOne of my major concerns is since the battery is not removable what happens at the end of the life cycle? or if the battery just dies early for whatever reason? This is keeping me from buying one in the fear of ending up with something that cant be used.

- Answer Hi there! The MAXX's battery life is expected to last up to 800 cycles. To extend the battery life, we recommend only charging it when the battery reaches 25% and charging it fully. Do not over-charge your battery and do disconnect when your MAXX is fully charged. At the end of the battery life, the battery would need to be replaced. We are partnering with SWFT-certified companies to help with this process in the near future!

QuestionHow do I open the seat to access the storage?

- Answer July 2022- Just got one of these and the seat access procedure has changed (and SWFT has not updated their instructions). There is a small round button right below the back of the seat on the fender, above the taillight. You need to push that button down while simultaneously pushing the key in and turning it to the left. That will cause the seat to pop open.
