A:Answer You should be able able to get 3 days of commuting on one charge using pedal assist just make sure to check the battery level using the charging unit. do not rely on the battery indicator on the bike computer. this bike is good for commuting in terms of power & range. you will not get terribly sweaty or exhausted. but beware, this bike is not designed to carry any cargo. you will need a large backpack to carry clothes, water, phone, etc. other things to know: this bike is heavy, if there are any stairs involved either at home or your work destination, it will not be pleasant. getting the bike moving after a stop {such as a red light} takes a great deal more effort than a conventional bike. it takes about two pedal revolutions for the assist to kick in or you can just use the throttle. due to the power of the motor, the braking distance is greater as compared to a conventional bike.. . cold weather will adversely adverse the battery performance. a dead battery will make even a slight incline a major chore. I've always tried to avoid riding in the rain and I certainly wouldn't do it with an electric bike if you monitor your battery & adjust your riding style you will have a great alternative mode of transportation. ENJOY!
