  • Questionhow much does it weigh, what is max inflation on tires, what type of motor is it?

    Asked by Mini.

    • Answer Hi there! The ZIP weighs 66lbs fully assembled. Our tires are inflated and fully ready to ride, but please check tire pressure before hitting the road. The ZIP has a maximum inflation of 20 PSI, and we recommend checking this with a pressure gauge on an air pump. If you need to add air to your tires, the ZIP requires a compressed air pump to fill, which you can find at most bike shops or gas stations. The motor is a 500W sustained 48V brushless rear hub motor. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions, and please reference more Tech Specs at the link here (be sure to scroll down!): https://rideswft.com/products/zip.

  • QuestionIs the battery replaceable?

    Asked by Fred.

    • Answer The battery is secured to the frame with a keyed lock, so you can remove it to take it inside to charge it if you'd rather not bring the entire bike in. Since it just snaps off and on, I see no reason why you could not replace the battery if necessary, provided the company is still in business and you can get the replacement battery. Hope that helps.
