• Yes this phone takes a micro sim, when i bought mine, i didn't even open the box, i took it to the nearest tmobile store and they were able to help me. They didn't charge me for a new sim card, and they had screen protectors and a case for it. It cost, but with the savings of the phone, it was worth it. This is the second time I have purchased a "TO GO" phone, love the fact that as a contracted tmobile customer you can buy these and save TONS of money.

• Yes. This phone actually comes with a new SIM card. If your old SIM card is too big or too small, then you will have to go to T-mobile for them to set-up the new SIM card. They let you keep your old number.

• yes, that is what I had on a plan broke my phone and not elegable for upgrade and didnt want to fork out big money so phone on sale BB for less than 100$ got it and put my sim in.

• Yes it does. I added a line to my T-Mobile account, bought this phone and inserted the sim card they gave me at T-Mobile..
