as far as I can tell. I external monitor in addition to your laptop/tablet screen. The Targus has a DVI video connector. And includes a converter to convert to VGA.

You can extend the monitor from the SV model to your screen. You have Mirror mode,extend mode and single mode. It you want true dual monitors then you need the DV version which has 1 DVI port and one HDMI port

This model only supports a single monitor but you can use two monitors if your laptop has VGA and/or HDMI out.

There is only 1 port for a monitor. However, I'm sure that you could get an adapter to be able to use multiple.
