QuestionCan you connect a second monitor with a VGA to USB converter and extend the window across the two monitors?

- Answer I connected my laptop to the dock via USB, then connected my VGA monitor to the dock via included VGA adapter. I've been able to both mirror the laptop to the monitor and extend the display across both laptop and monitor using Windows 10 without problems. This docking station solved the HDMI to VGA problem very easily.

QuestionIs this compatable with a chromebook?? When i called an placed the order, that is spacfically what i asked for, now that i recived it, im not sure it works without windows....

- Answer No, this will not work with Windows 10. It was working fine until Windows 10 was installed. That is why they are clearing these out!!

- Answer as far as I can tell. I external monitor in addition to your laptop/tablet screen. The Targus has a DVI video connector. And includes a converter to convert to VGA.
