- Answer I have been successful using both the VGA and HDMI ports at the same time. The refresh rate seems a little slow and I would not plan to run a lot of full action video, but it did work for me. I would suggest that it depends a lot on your computer and make absolutely sure you're using USB 3. Don't expect that success with USB 2.

- Answer Get a new video card for your desktop. It will work better for you in the long term, and they are really easy to install. There are a ton of videos on Youtube that will show you how to do it.
