To fill the window opening as described some sort of filler panel would be needed to cover the window opening. 3. For standard vertical and horizontal windows the installation is very simple using the window kit that comes with the AC. The filler panel kit for the TAC-08CPA/HA goes in the window opening and can be extended up to 46" with a width of 6". 4. For most window installations no additional parts would be required however for the window described additional parts would most likely be required to fill in the additional area beyond the 6" x 46" opening. I think the issue with venting under the house is air flow. Theres is no air flow under a house so you may put all that hot air under your floor boards.... possibly defecating the AC purpose. Just a thought.
