It is true Hdr. I have it for my XB1X. The picture is amazing. I went from a standard Xbox to the X and the difference was incredible. It's not as great as a Sony or Samsung but it is also 3x cheaper in price. What makes it better than those 2 brands is the low input lag on the TLC. It's actually lower than those more expensive sets! I bought the TV for my game room. I liked it so much I'm buying the newer 6 series for the living room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TCL 50in 5 series still works great. A word to the wise though, go into settings on the tv and change it to HDMI 2.0 or you won't get the full monty. Just upgraded from a 1080p and I love this thing. For a 50in 4k for a little over 300, I am very impressed. Did a lot of research beforehand, and really satisfied with what I got for what I paid. Once I can afford to invest a mortgage payment or two in a tv I will upgrade, but for now...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really is true hdr. The TV is equipped to display a wide color gamut which will be utilized with hdr content. However, the peak brightness of the TV is not high enough to make hdr highlights really pop as well as some more expensive sets.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDR seems true to me, I've used my PS4 and it looks great.
