QuestionDoes this TV require you sign in to Google to set up? I have no interest in the Google TV function, and intent to instead run a standalone Apple TV. I know that I can probably keep the internet off to keep Google out, but I no longer have a Google account

- Answer No, you can use it as a regular television without logging into google. In fact you probably should use a standalone media device instead of the OS

- Answer I have been living with my Q50G for just a few weeks. We only use it as a display, so we haven't dug into the software much. The TV did connect to wireless with no issue. Netflix and Hulu ran just fine on the TV, but we do have a Roku and DirecTV for daily viewing. As a display for our video sources, this TCL still amazes me with its quality and performance.

QuestionIs the resolution halved used when running 1080p@120hz. Also does the 50" model have the ability to output 1080p@120hz, or is it just the 55" and 65"?

- Answer The 50" model does not support Game Accelerator 120, that answer came directly from TCL Customer Support. Also when searching for an answer to why my 50" Q5 had no option for 1080/1440p @ 120hz I came across this section from a rtings.com review. "Even though the TV has a 60Hz panel, it can do 1080p @ 120Hz natively, and 1440p @ 120Hz with resolution halving through TCL's Game Accelerator 120 feature, but this feature is only supported on the 55-inch and 65-inch models.

- Answer Each of our TV Classes builds on each other. Both of these Classes (S4 and Q5) feature a 4K resolution, Auto Game Mode (ALLM), Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual: X, and a Google operating system. The Q5 additionally features Game Accelerator, VRR, High Brightness, QLED technology, etc. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
