All our current dehumidifiers should turn off once they reach the RH level. There will be a 3 to 5 RH% variance. The compressor should turn off, followed by the fan, after a short period of meeting the target relative humidity(RH%). The dehumidifier measures humidity at the sensor inside the unit, not the center of the room. If the air near the sensor is still above 60%, the unit will continue to run.
