QuestionWhat is the differences between 55 R646, and 55 R655? I hear that the 55 R646 model is better, but I want to make sure.

QuestionReally thinking about buying this TV because of the ROKU, however I am reading a lot about the high pitch noise on black screens. Has anything been done to fix this?

- Answer Some models have what’s called Coil Whine when local dimming is set to high. You can turn this setting to Medium and it should offset the noise at the cost of some picture quality.

QuestionWhen I turn on my tv I’d like it to default to my dvr without having to choose it. that way I could just start watching tv when I turn it on. Is there a way to do this?

- Answer The answer is Yes. From the red TCL home screen, go to settings>system>power>power on. From there you can select which input to automatically start when the TV is powered on.

QuestionCan the 55 R646 model output in 1440p resolution at 60fps? I want to play PS5 games in 1440p/60fps, but I wasn’t sure if the 55 R646 model can support 1440p, and 60fps at the same time?

QuestionMy dvd/vcr combo has an hdmi port. Can I connect directly to this TV using the cable that came with the dvd player? What hdmi port would I use on the TV? If i can do this, will there still be an appropriate port available for a sound bar on the TV

- Answer You may use any HDMI port. I prefer port 2 because my cable box is on HDMI 1. I used the optical connection for the soundbar

QuestionI experience a lot of pixelation for quick moving action. I never experienced this on my last TV - a basic Vizio UHD LED screen. I thought that upgrading to QLED would provide an even better picture, but am very disappointed. Any suggestions on this?
