- Answer Like most TVs in 2025, we are using the universally adopted ATSC 1.0 tuner on this 55 inch model. We have used the ATSC 3.0 tuner on some models for those select few who can benefit from the limited rollout of this broadcast in the foreseeable future. Hope this helps! QuestionWe're using an external streaming box and sound system. Would any other aspects of the QM7K make it a better unit than this one for our living room?

- Answer One consideration is glare. If the room gets much sunlight, the QM7 might be in order. This was not a concern for us, as the tv is in a room with a small north facing window.

QuestionHow low are the top mount screw holes? I have a Rockfish wall mount and the top holes need to be 13” from the top of the tv to clear my mantle. My old 65” Sony fit perfectly but newer style tv’s hang too low.

- Answer Although they are mounted to the TV ar 39 inches, the legs angle outward. They hang dangerously right on the edges of my 41 inch stand.

- Answer In order to use the smart features of this TV, the TV would need to be connected to the Internet and the guided setup (the GoogleTV portion) would need to be completed. This TCL TV features various inputs that can be used to connect external devices.
