• Hi Justme2, The sound bar can connect a few different ways. You can connect to your TV via the included optical/toslink cable or the included HDMI cable. If your TV has the ARC function on one of its HDMI ports, you can connect the soundbar that way and then you can use your TV remote to turn the soundbar on and off and control the volume. You can use the optical/toslink cable to connect to your TV as well, but then you would have to use the controller that comes with the sound bar to adjust the settings on the soundbar.
