- Answer I'll be honest: this was one of the easiest cameras I have had to set up. Follow the start up directions in the manual, get the correct app from the app store, and everything goes smooth. So far, this has been a very good budget camera, and the quality of video is superb!

QuestionDuring initial setup, do you need to connect to an ethernet cable directly to the wifi router? My new wifi system does not have the ethernet inlet, so I couldn't connect cameras that I had. So I'm looking for cameras that can connect without ethernet.

- Answer No ethernet cable required! As long as your cellphone is on your wireless network, you are good to go.

Questiondoes it pick up motion through glass windows? like if someone comes up to my back door and looks in will it start recording? what is time delay when recording starts? i use arlo sometimes a person will come up on the porch and it recording them leaving

- Answer It picks up lightning at my back door and sends a notification to view the recording so it seems to be pretty quick. Great little camera.

QuestionHow long of a video can the 7 day free cloud storage hold? If the camera is recording for 6 continuous hours, will that be stored and accessible after it’s done recording?

- Answer As far as I know, since the camera would be normally used 24-7, all would be stored for 7 days before it's deleted and then looped over. You are able to view and download the video to your own storage within that time frame. After which it is gone and you will not be able to retrieve it.

- Answer Yes. Also depends on your settings. I have mine set on motion and it records after detecting movement. You will see seperate files everytime it starts and ends a recording.

QuestionIs it possible to break the microphone? Or if it's covered (say with Gorilla tape) would it be muffled a lot? This may be weird, but we are trying to find a pet camera without 2 way audio so hackers can't listen to us, but that seems impossible.

- Answer Cordless cameras need to be charged. The cord you got is what is used to charge your camera. Then, you can place it anywhere without the need to be plugged in. You're only restricted to the battery life.
