QuestionDoes this ever stay in stock long enough for someone to get past entering their account password and 2FA number? Every time I do that it just goes back to the page and tells me it's sold out yet again.

- Answer I’ve gotten to the “making sure it’s still in stock page” then it leads to a page that says “item can’t be shipped put in zip code for pick up” and no matter what zip I put in. It says no stores are available within 250 miles.

QuestionIs there even reason to bother? You get a steelbook, a poster, and an artbook you can maybe pick up later after the craze dies down? A pin set? The BotW sheikah slate carrying case was much nicer than any of this, and that col's edition even had the OST!

- Answer Lots of people won't be getting this, but not for lack of interest. Thank the scalpers! If you really want one of these items later, I'd just buy it secondhand. There's basically no hope getting it through a retailer. I'm tired of trying to get things like these and fight bots to do it. But also, TotK's items don't seem as impressive as BotW's collector's edition anyway. If people can't get this one, they can expect to get an *exclusive* gourmet hand-crafted block of wood from Gamestop lol. Just seems kinda lame compared to what we got before.

QuestionIve had the game in my cart twice now and it asks me to choose a pickup location and all it says is its not available for a pickup and makes me keep trying to find a location to pick it up.

- Answer The restocks are regional, as dumb as that is. So it may show up yellow for you even though it's actually not been restocked in your region.

- Answer It's the scalpers. They're always the first ones to get all the stock and it ruins the fun for the rest of us thag want to grab a copy. From what i've experienced in the last month, bestbuy hasn't done anything about it and we'll just have to refresh every time until we get one

- Answer I've gotten the code on several attempts. It doesn't matter, because your cart doesn't reserve anything for any time at all. By the time you retrieve the code, and enter it, even copying and pasting, you're greeted with the exciting message, "This item has sold out".

QuestionIt's funny that bots are against their terms of service and yet they are allowing them to run rampant. Do they ever respond to these questions in here? If so, can they comment on the bots violating their TOS without penalty?

- Answer I feel you- they need to limit the copies that go out- one per account, I think they just don't care- that's what it feels like...I'm sure you've been waiting years for this game like me, and you just want something special, like me, but unfortunately, we probably won't have our special thing because of the bots- which best buy doesn't seem to be handling...

- Answer It's because of the new verification system put into place by Best Buy. Ideally, it was to help prevent scalpers and bots, but it backfired bigtime. Now, hardly anyone is able to secure a pre-order for the ToTK CE unless a major restock happens. Of course, there are a few occasional people that manage to secure one through the "micro-drops" but most of the time it ends up being a "false alarm."

- Answer Nope, not that i could see... theres a good website for tracking when this gets released in a store, I'm not sure if i can post links- but go to RestockTracker.io. It'll keep track of any restocks in canada the uk and the usa. Hope you get a copy! (I hope I get a copy...)

- Answer At this point, it's unfortunately because they genuinely don't care about their actual customers. The whole scalper bots garbage has been going on for over a decade at this point. We know eBay enjoys the profit off of it, and will never take a second to ban pretty much every listing up right now (especially the jerks who pick up multiple); so somewhere in there is a profit motive. Honestly it's probably something as insulting as their betting that the hundreds of thousands to millions fighting against instant "buyers" will buy something else from whichever site just lets it happen time and time again. Captcha would at least be something. But nah, we're $$$ to them, nothing more.

- Answer Lol nope i looked into that too. I want 1 collectors ededition for myself. Get this u can rent bots but the bots are all rented and in order to rent a bot. You guessed it you have to have a bot because they sell out to fast... and there like 300 to 400$ a month to rent if you were lucky enough to get 1.

- Answer basically I have been covering the internet and looking at the replies to other questions and here it is in a short summary. basically a bunch of money hungry people buy or code bots to as soon as the game is available buy it they do this because they know that die hard fans and parents who want to get a good present for their child will buy it they end up making 3x the money the game is originally worth because they overprice it because they know that you can barley find it anywhere so just some guy on the internet ruining the childrens fun by being money hungry so. in short it will only be in stock for like 10 seconds before the bots take it away sorryI really wanted it too.

- Answer I just wanted to let you know that I went into Best Buy and asked customer service and they were able to let me preorder the collectors edition in store. I don’t know if every Best Buy will do it for you but it’s worth a shot.

- Answer Unfortunately, they probably won’t remove this “feature”. I am assuming it is in place to help protect against bots, but it doesn’t seem to be helping considering every time it comes in stock it is gone in what feels like milliseconds. Wish you the best of luck securing a copy!
