It depends on how much motion is recorded. I agree it needs to allow for more parking recording. At work I am in a busy parking lot and it records even less. But it will record impact so lets hope we never run out of impact storage. That is my main concern and it works great for driveway night recording.

Parking Surveillance Mode is largely dependent on the condition of the car battery and the number of incidents occurred, as storing incident footage requires considerable power consumption. To maximize Parking Surveillance Mode operation, we recommend lowering the Off-Voltage setting (the threshold at which the dash cam prompts shut down in Parking Surveillance Mode as a battery discharge protection feature) and lowering the Motion/Impact sensitivity in Parking Surveillance Mode.
