“When the SD card is full it rewrites over but which files get rewritten first? I was parked for two hours, from 1 to 3. I have files from 1 to 2 but than the time stamp shows 4 o'clock. So it looks like it rewrote over the latest files not the earliest”

I'm thinking if you have the app on your smartphone you can Go in app and delete previous video that you want need. As most of us guys do WE don't need instructions Ill be the first to admit (still haven't) if you can't get the app from the App Store I'm sure the instructions will explain. In fact I do need to read them. Gary

Based on your description of the file list, it appears that the dash cam did not detect any impact or motion during the last hour. This is normal, as the dash cam was designed to only save footage on the MicroSD card when triggered to minimize power consumption and extend Parking Surveillance Mode operation.
