- Answer be careful, the thick ones in the new pkg that states it, yes, others no. I bought after new ones came out, but they were dumping old ones for months.none of the slims allow battery change.

- Answer You can use one or the other, plus the Tile app on your phone. Any one Tile token and the Tile app is all you need.

Questioni am wondering how you locate your phone if lost given that you use an App on your phone for tracking (or can you track via computer, but then if you misplace your laptop need to use phone to track?). i haven't lost a phone/laptop but am curious. thanks

- Answer Yes, but you have to be right on top of it for it to work. Seems if anything is on top of the item or in a drawer etc, forgetaboutit.

- Answer Yes. In the Tile app (I can only verify iOS-Apple app), a user can share a tile with someone else. For example, I share the tile that I have on my keys with my daughter so that if I lose them and my phone, she can view the location of my keys as well on her phone.

QuestionHow far of a distance it's tracking to and from?

- Answer The sound is not very loud. At home or like, you may need to walk about a bit. At wide open space, I use location history (GPS map) first. So, how loud is not very important to me, because even the loud one is not loud enough in open space (such as search car in huge parking lot). The 2020 pro is the loudest, if you need it loud.

- Answer Yes, it uses a Bluetooth connection to operate and notify you when the Tile is out of range. Average distance is about 20 to 30 ft. range.

- Answer The Tiles aren't associated to an account until they are activated, so yes, 4 different people could split this pack up.

- Answer Well yes and no. Within the app you would put forth word to the "Tile Community" that your stuff is missing. If it's actually been stolen and headed off to some remote place it's *possible* that another Tile user could encounter it and you would be notified. But--guess what--no higher authority is going to go looking for your stuff for you based on a report from the Tile Community. You're on your own. If you're lucky you might at least learn whether your luggage is still located back at the airport you took off from, that might be helpful information you could provide to the airline as they try to locate your stuff.

- Answer Tile Slims do not have replaceable batteries. The existing battery lasts 3 years. After that you have to replace your tile by buying a new one.

- Answer I think it's for 2020 version $69. This is 2018 version, $29 already quite good deal. I don't think they afford to offer free Google nest mini with this deal. But you can find other Google nest mini deal and buy this set of tile. Such as $19 with smart bulb

- Answer Same house. If you are close to the window it can reach to your car outside. In any case, if it is out of range, the app tells you where it was last “seen” so you can go there and walk around until the app turns green and then it is in range.
